17/05/13: COÀGUL NOU ARTISTA DE MÀGIA ROJA I PRÈVIA DELS NOUS DISCS DE QA’A, COÀGUL I JOCHEN ARBEIT & HUAN!!!
Ens omple d’alegria i orgull anunciar-vos què Coàgul ha entrat a formar part de la germandat de Màgia Roja. El mes de juny publiquem el seu primer vinil La Roda de la Justícia, un artefacte d’invocacions industrials plagada de simbologia Mediterrània ancestral, referències al Tarot i surrealisme. També editem l’esperat tercer disc dels arcans Qa’a, Sang, què es va enregistrar entre 2009 i 2011 en una mansió-balneari abandonat del segle XIX. És un disc d’inspiració màgica, a voltes sorollista, a voltes misteriòs i hipnòtic, empantat de psicodèlia fosca on els oàsis es fonen amb els deserts. El rèptil amb el mamífer i la sang amb el metall. Per rematar tenim el disc de Jochen Arbeit & Huan, un 12′ a 45rpm de psicodèlia germànico-catalana, épica i ascendent, amb moments onírics i abstractes. Podeu escoltar la prèvia de tots aquests discs al nostre Soundcloud. Penseu què els discs de Màgia Roja estàn masteritzats amb amor i cura per un so dinàmic, sonaràn millor si endolleu uns bons cascs o a través de l’equip de música. Es un placer y un orgullo anunciaros que Coàgul ha entrado a formar parte de la hermandad de Màgia Roja. En junio publicamos su primer vinilo La Roda de la Justícia, artefacto de invocaciones industriales plagada de simbología Mediterránea ancestral, referencias al Tarot y surrealismo. También editemos el esperado tercer disco de los arcanos Qa’a, Sang, que se grabó entre 2009 y 2011 en una mansión-balneario abandonado del siglo XIX. Es un disco de inspiración mágica, a veces ruidista, a veces misteriosa e hipnótica, empantanado de psicodelia oscura dónde los oásis se funden con los desiertos. El réptil con el mamífero y la sangre con el metal. Finalmente tenemos el disco de Jochen Arbeit & Huan, un 12′ a 45rpm de psicodelia germánico-catalana, épica y ascendente, con momentos oníricos y abstractos. 17/05/13: NEW MÀGIA ROJA ARTIST COÀGUL AND SNEAK PEAK OF COÀGUL, QA’A AND JOCHEN ARBEIT & HUAN RELEASES!!!
We’re happy and honoured to anounce that Coàgul has joined Màgia Roja’s brotherhood and we’ll be releasing his first vinil record La Roda de la Justícia, a artefact of industrial invocations plagued with ancient Mediterranean symbology, references to the Tarot and surrealism. We’re also releasing the long-awaited third album by the arcana Qa’a, Sang, which was recorded between 2009 and 2011 in an abandoned XIXth century mansion-bathhouse. It’s a magic inspired album, at times noisy, at times misterious and hypnotic, swamped with dark psychedelia where the oasis’ merge with the desert. The reptile with the mammal. The blood with the metal. Lastly we have Jochen Arbeit & Huan, a 12′ at 45rpm of German-Catalan psychedelia, epic and ascendent, with oeniric and abstract parts. You may listen to a preview of all these albums on our Soundcloud. Remember Màgia Roja’s albums are mastered with love and care for dynamics, they sound much better when plugged into a good pair of headphones or through your soundsystem. El proper 25 de maig Huan ha sigut convidat a col·laborar en directe com a membre de Nurse With Wound en el seu concert al Primavera Sound! Si aneu al Primavera no us ho perdeu! Coincidint amb el festival tindrem el primer LP del projecte de Jochen Arbeit (Einstürzende Neubaten) & Huan, amb portada de la mà de la fantàstica Clara Iris Ramos. Podeu escoltar un extracte aquí. I per fi tindrem el doble LP de Qa’a “Sang“! Quatre llargs anys després del internacionalment reconegut Chi’en, també amb portada de Clara Iris. El próximo 25 de mayo Huan ha sido invitado a colaborar en directo como miembro de Nurse With Wound en su concierto del Primavera Sound! Si vais al Primavera no os lo perdáis! On the 25th of May Huan has been invited to collaborate as a guest member of Nurse With Wound at their Primavera Sound concert! If you’re going to Primavera, don’t miss it! Coinciding with the festival we’ll have the first LP of Jochen Arbeit (Einstürzende Neubaten) & Huan’s project, with artwork by the fantastic Clara Iris Ramos. You may listen to an excerpt here. And at last we’ll have Qa’a “Sang” double LP! Four long years after the internationally acclaimed Chi’en, also with artwork by Clara Iris. And last but not least, the grand surprise of our new editions: Coàgul’s first vinyl release! You’ll be able to see him scream his heart out at Sònar next Thursday the 13th of June. El dijous 22 de novembre a les 20h Víctor Hurtado (AKA Huan) i Adrià Bofarull (AKA Hydra) participaràn en el laboratori d’improvisació Impronit organitzat per Gràcia Territori Sonor i La Caldera, juntament amb els ballarins Cecilia Colacrai i Ángel Zotes. Serà la primera i única vegada que actúen junts tant els músics com els ballarins. Un univers oníric d’ambients abstractes, textures psicodéliques i surrealisme en moviment… Màgia única i irrepetible. Us hi esperem.
